Terms and Conditions for Rebecca Douglas Photography Print Shop

Welcome to Rebecca Douglas Photography Print Shop. By purchasing products from our shop, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Information
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers via our online shop.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions comply with applicable UK consumer protection laws.

2. Products and Pricing
2.1 All product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate at the time of listing but may be subject to change.
2.2 Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable but exclude shipping costs, import duties, levies, and taxes, which are calculated at checkout or may be incurred upon delivery.
2.3 Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to differences in screen displays and printing processes.
2.4 All prints are produced on Hahnemühle Bamboo Fine Art Paper at a UK Carbon Neutral print lab.
2.5 Product-specific details for Wall Hanger Prints: For wall-hanger prints (including A3 and A4 sizes), the wooden hangers are manufactured from natural materials. Variations in grain, colour and texture are normal and are not considered defects.
2.6 Production partner: All wall-hanger prints are fulfilled by our production partner. Dispatch times, materials and packaging may differ from our fine-art prints. By placing an order for a wall-hanger print, you acknowledge that the item will be produced, packed and shipped directly by our production partner on our behalf.
2.7 Multi-item orders: If you order multiple items, they may arrive in separate shipments depending on the production partner fulfilling each item or they are packed individually to ensure their protection in transit and safe delivery.

3. Our Contract with You for Goods
3.1 Placing your order: Please follow the onscreen prompts to place an order for goods. Each order is an offer by you to buy the goods specified in the order subject to these Terms.
3.2 Correcting input errors: Our order process allows you to check your order at the checkout and amend any errors before submitting your order. Please review your order carefully before confirming it. You are responsible for ensuring that your order and any specifications submitted are complete and accurate. The order is printed on demand, which is an automated service and once submitted it can not be amended or cancelled.
3.3 Acknowledging receipt of your order: After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received it.
3.4 Product availability and seasonal deadlines: The wall hangers are printed to order, we hold no stock in house. The production and delivery times for wall-hanger prints may vary, especially during seasonal or holiday periods. Order cut-off dates published on our website or in our communications are advisory and cannot be guaranteed due to third-party carrier constraints but do our best to give guidance based on their published information.

4. Payment
4.1 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept card payments and GooglePay.
4.2 All transactions are securely processed using industry-standard encryption. We do not store your payment information.

5. Delivery
5.1 Orders are delivered directly from the print lab to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure your delivery details are correct. Rebecca Douglas Photography does not process the order personally.
5.2 Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout but may vary due to external factors beyond our control.
5.3 If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange a replacement or refund.
5.4 International customs: Customs fees, import duties and taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the customer. While our fulfilment partner often prints and ships orders from the closest production facility (UK, EU or US) to minimise delays and additional charges, we cannot guarantee that customs fees will not be applied. Any such charges are outside our control and must be paid by the recipient.

6. No Cancellation Rights
6.1 As our products are printed on demand to the customer’s specifications, you do not have cancellation rights under applicable consumer laws.
6.2 If your order is defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days to arrange a replacement or refund in line with your statutory rights.
6.3 Limitations on returns for hanger products: Due to the made-to-order nature of wall-hanger prints and the use of natural wood components, minor variations in colour, grain and finish will not qualify for returns or replacements. Replacements will only be offered in the case of manufacturing defects or damage in transit. Contact about any concerns must be made within 7 days of receipt.

7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All images, designs, and content in our shop are the intellectual property of Rebecca Douglas LTD trading as Rebecca Douglas Photography and are protected by copyright laws.
7.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our products for any purposes without prior written consent.

8. Privacy
8.1 We are committed to protecting your personal data. We process personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle your data.
8.2 We use cookies to provide and enhance our services. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more information.

9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
9.2 Our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the purchase price of that product.
9.3 Limitations relating to hanging hardware: Rebecca Douglas Photography is not liable for any damage to walls, surfaces or items that occurs as a result of improper hanging, handling, or installation of wall-hanger prints. Please follow the included instructions and ensure appropriate fixings for your wall type.
9.4 Natural wood variations and safe handling: Our wall-hanger prints are made from natural wood that is finely sanded and finished, however small variations in texture are inherent to natural materials. While unlikely, minor roughness or splinters can occur. Customers are responsible for checking the hanger before use and handling it with care. Rebecca Douglas LTD is not liable for splinters, snags, scratches, or damage to clothing, walls or surfaces resulting from handling or installing the product.

10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
11.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
11.2 Continued use of our shop constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms and Conditions.
